In the new poll, taken Friday through Sunday, McCain leads Obama by 54%-44% among those seen as most likely to vote. The survey of 1,022 adults, including 959 registered voters, has a margin of error of +/— 3 points for both samples.

It makes sense to be concerned, but don't pay too much attention to the Gallup/USAToday poll. They are in the bag for McCain. This was the only poll to show a McCain lead prior to the RNC convention. They did this by creating a likely voter screen that assumed that Republicans were far MORE motivated than democrats. The convention bounce is real, but this poll is crap. Pay it no mind.
