Extreme cold grips much of Canada

Canadians were being told to bundle up Wednesday morning as extreme cold weather alerts were issued for central and eastern parts of the country.

It could feel like between –30 to –50 with the wind chill in a frigid swath stretching from Saskatchewan to Quebec, according to Environment Canada.
