btw, i went to a talk by barney frank, and someone asked him about whether the new administration will pursue the various charges currently leveled against some members of the bush admin. he said they do intend to do so, and the reason for the current hold-up, despite there being a congress mainly controlled by democrats, is that prosecutors have the power to hold-up the process (for instance, pursuing the subpoenas issued to karl rove). once a new set of prosecutors are put in place in january, then movement can be made.
I'll believe this when I see it. So far, it seems that the Dems don't even have the cajones to strip Lieberman of his chairmanship of the Homeland Security Committee.
If they can't stand up to Lieberman, then they will never stand up to anyone.
