the kicker to this is that 20+ years from now, when hurricanes and droughts and such are wrecking havoc across the planet, people will say that god is punishing us for our sins. in other words, making no association between human action and consequences.
i forgot to point out, what i meant by 'sins' is not our lack of attention to global warming causing activities, but rather the 'liberals' and their sinful actions (gay marriage, etc.).
