As I am watching the video lectures (instead of working) of the positive psychology course at Harvard I can't help but think that it is (and will be) a major blow against the conservative, strict-father, punishment oriented model of child rearing. If Lakoff is right (linking value systems with, positive pysch could be a boon for more liberal oriented politics. Oprah should do a show on this course rather than on "The Secret".
If this becomes more legitimate watch as it is disparaged and labeled as cooky far-left hippy happy self-help blah blah by the religious right.
