maybe my 1995 Honda Civic will start going up in value. it gets 35MPG highway, which, even today, is still excellent mileage. i was looking at cars in a Honda lot the other day (while getting mine fixed) and MPG is *still* only around 30 highway, in freakin' year 2008.
i just wish i had a '96, because beginning that year, cars were mandated to have electronic interfaces.
the impact of that now is that 'hypermilers' buy devices like the ScanGauge to watch their MPG in real-time. see http://www.scangauge.com/
