Lieberman's endorsement of Republican John McCain disqualifies him as a super-delegate to the Democratic National Convention under what is informally known as the Zell Miller rule, according to Democratic State Chairwoman Nancy DiNardo.

Good stuff -- but he distorts the role of unelected people when he says that only about 1/2 of the 800 super delegates are unelected. Just the house and senate alone total 535 +28 governors etc. Probably close to 600 of 800 are present or past elected officials.
